The Boutique at L’Auberge de l’Ill

Cross the threshold of Auberge de l’Ill and step into the cosy and warm atmosphere of our Boutique.

Memories...

Here a quaint picture of the first generation of Haeberlins, here one of General de Gaulle, there Paul Haeberlin and his brother Jean-Pierre, and there the children in traditional dress... So many moments that have formed the history of the family!

Gold books reveal a host of pictures of artists and politicians who have visited L’Auberge de l’Ill...

A photo evokes the twinning between Illhaeusern and Collonges-au-Mont-d’or with Paul Bocuse.

And then in a glass case, a copy of the Michelin Guide for 1967, the year the first third star was awarded... Rewards, memories of events large and small.

Welcome to our home!

The Boutique

All around the central bar, leather-lined niches contain products and objects intimately linked to L’Auberge de l’Ill and its fame.

Elegance, with the Haeberlin-signed ties; gastronomy, with the L’Auberge de l’Ill kitchen jacket stamped with the famous family logo; flavours, with the Haeberlin foie gras terrine, and the Marc Haeberlin cooking books to try out the famous chef’s triply-starred recipes…

Not to mention the restaurant's own stoneware by Bernardaud, whose pattern reflects the undulation of the river, or the signature Marc Haeberlin knives by Mazelier.
